Sundays: Pick ‘n’ Mix Sundays is the name of the game here. We have occasional shows and after shows, monthly free beer pong & pool nights, occasional quiz nights and more.The bar is usually open from 5:00pm through till 12:00am (midnight) for you to relax, enjoy some pool or more in our games area and whatever helps you unwind after a Saturday night of partying. Admission is free except on special occasions.

Mondays & Tuesdays: Subside will be open from 5:00pm through till 12:00am (midnight)or later if something special is on (eg, aftershow events) for your early week leisure time. Admission is free except on special occasions and Bank Holiday events.

Wednesdays: Wednesdays are our student night. With more great brand name drinks offers than any other night of the week and the coolest tunes from our resident DJ there is no other place to be. Drinks offers at time of writing (December 2025) include:
Carling lager and any Stowford Press Cider @ £3.00 pint.
Trooper @ £3.50 pint.
Becks, Budweiser, Peroni, Sol bottled beers @ £2.50 bottle.
Amaretto, Captain Morgan Spiced, Famous Grouse, Fireball, Jagermeister, Malibu, Southern Comfort all @ £3.00 a double.
4 x WKD (same flavour) @ £10.00.
The bar is open all day from 5:00pm through till 3:00am with the drinks offers starting at 5:00pm and DJ at 9:00pm.

Thursdays: Thursdays are our live band night. Each week Surprise You’re Dead Music will be putting on a great bill featuring the best in local, national and international talent. And the best news about this is that entry is totally FREE! This way you get to check out the hottest up and coming bands without having to lose any of your precious beer money! The bar is open all day from 5:00pm through till 12:00am (midnight) and admission is free except on special occasions.

Fridays & Saturdays: The whole bar will be rocking to the tunes played by our rotating resident DJ’s so that you never get bored by the mix of rock, metal, punk, ska, indie & alternative anthems old and new that will be blasting out each and every week! The bar is open Fridays from 5:00pm till 6:00am and on Saturdays all day from 12:00pm (midday) through till 6:00am the next day. Also on Fridays roughly once a month we have some of the UK’s best tribute acts on to entertain you, check out our Facebook Business page for upcoming events and shows. Admission is free before 9:00pm then admission after 9:00pm at £5.00 all night (discount for local RockSoc members).
